Andie Meshae Forrester, our Principal, has dedicated his life to community service and education. Under his leadership, Social Circle Sandlot Inc. (SCSI) has grown into a vital resource for children in Georgia.
SCSI addresses the critical need for equitable educational opportunities and support for underprivileged children in Social Circle, GA. Data from local school districts and community assessments consistently show disparities in academic performance, access to learning resources, and extracurricular engagement among children from low-income households.
Our core mission is to empower children in Social Circle, GA, through education, ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential, regardless of their socioeconomic background.
Our Vision & Goals
In the next 5-10 years, SCSI envisions a Social Circle where every child has access to high-quality educational resources and support, leading to a significant reduction in educational disparities and an increase in overall community well-being.
SMART Goals (1-3 Years)
- Increase Academic Proficiency: Improve reading and math scores of 75% of participating students by at least one grade level.
- Expand Program Reach: Enroll and support 200 new children annually.
- Enhance Resource Access: Partner with 5 local schools and 3 community centers.
- Boost Volunteer Engagement: Recruit and retain 100 dedicated volunteers annually.
